Reggie has exceptional conformation and has won the majority of the show titles available for coonhounds in the Western United States. In all breed shows he has won one Best in Show and four Reserve Best in Shows. In bench shows he has won overall in several different states under several different judges including: 2-time Best of Show Male Overall in Point Standings for the Western Tradition Circuit, 6-time UKC World Qualifier and 2-time Washington State Show Champion. He exceeds the breed standards in most areas, has exceptional show presence and just shines in the show ring. His gait is extremely fluid and smooth and he is at his best when he is in motion.

In addition to his success in the show ring, he is my favorite dog to pleasure hunt. Reggie is bred from a line of predominant cat hunters and he is no exception. Reggie enjoys mountain lion, bobcat and coon hunting as well. Reggie has a very cold nose that helps him move track very fast and is able to locate both cat and coon with ease. He gets straight to the point in hunting and doesn't make a lot of wasted movement in finding game. He has a very loud, clear voice and shows a lot of smarts when hunting. This hound can hang with any hound in the woods. Reggie has a good temperment and is wonderful with all childeren, including our own two girls. He has a remarkable ability to be calm and content around the house, but ready to go as soon as the hunting gear comes out.

Reggie has proven himself to be an excellent reproducer. He tends to throw a superbly even temperment, a strong top-line and beautiful angulation. All-around Reggie is a first class hound. Please see offspring pages for pictures of the dogs he has thrown.
